A straight trade for
a tricky coast

Brisbane Water Garage Doors is a garage-door repair and installation service for Gosford and the suburbs around the water. No call-centre, no runaround, just the honest version of what your door needs and a fair go at fixing it.

How we work

Quote first, fix once

We’re a quote-first trade, and we think that’s the fair way to do it. For a fault, we come out, get under the door and tell you what’s actually wrong and what it’ll cost before we start: a call-out, then an on-site repair price. For a new door, we measure the opening and the headroom on site and quote it properly.

What we won’t do is give you a number over the phone or off a web page, because a garage door that looks identical from the driveway can be a very different job once we’re in behind it. We’d rather quote you the truth than a figure that changes when we turn up.

We know this patch

Gosford is its own thing: apartment carparks and roller doors on the flat by Brisbane Water, houses and sectional doors up the hills. Salt in the air and a genuinely wet climate mean doors here wear differently to doors an hour inland. Knowing that is half the job; it’s why we’ll tell a coastal customer to keep an eye on their springs, and why we push galvanised hardware near the water.

The things people ask

Why is there no phone number on the site?

Send an enquiry with what your door’s doing and we’ll call you straight back to sort a time; you’ll get a real conversation with someone who can actually help, not a queue.

Do you list prices?

No, and on purpose. Garage-door work is genuinely quote-on-inspection: a call-out then an on-site price for repairs, and a free measure-and-quote for new doors. A published “from” price would just be a guess we’d have to walk back.

Can you match my door to the roof colour?

We can help you get close with an on-site colour match. It’s a match, not a guarantee, since steel colours read differently in different light, so we’ll be honest about how close is close.

My opener needs wiring: can you do that?

The mains-wiring side of an opener is licensed-electrical work, and we treat it that way. We confirm what a job needs on site and make sure the electrical work is done by the right trade.
